| Framing. Award winner | |||
| Project: Entry in the Australian & New Zealand Framing Awards 2001; the competition involved all entrants finding the best way to present the same image
Result: The framing team was honoured with 3rd place. Frame design: The wood for the frame was worked so that the timber colour matched that of the palm tree. The skew shape reflects the image content, with the frame being pushed out of shape due to the passing cyclone. Technique: The charcoal timber of the frame was rubbed back with steel wool with a grey/green stain applied. Bevelled accent Alphamat, colours chosen to complement the frame and poster colours.
